29th January 2003 Windsurfing: Golf Course Car park, Borth Wind Direction: NNW Wind Stength: 30 knots Surf / Sea State: 2 foot messy surf Air Temperature: 3C Sea Temperature: 7C Weather: Sunny spells Max Speed: Distance Covered: I had a good session from the Golf Course Car Park today. The conditions were pretty much on my limit, so I wasn't particularly relaxed out there and after the first few runs didn't really go for it, but I still had an excellent time. Guy was also out and feeling more comfortable with the conditions and therefore going for some big jumps. I went for a few big jumps on my first couple of runs but ended up doing big unintentional back loop attempts and slamming down on my side, so decided to take it a little easier after that and just went for little hops off the steeper waves on the insdie and then floated off the backs of the big swells out the back. I had a couple of nice little wave rides on the way back in too, and riding the swells out the back was fun. Good session, in excellent conditions...If only I were a little better. |
